Amur Maple

Amur maple is a woody shrub native to northeastern Asia, Korea and Japan. It typically grows 3-10 meters tall. It is often planted as a popular ornamental tree selected for its showy keys, fragrant flowers and dramatic fall colours. It is tolerant to harsh site conditions and is highly variable in form, leaf characteristics and fruit colour. Many hybrids and subspecies of amur maple occur.
