Blue Spruce

Medium-sized tree that typically grows  up to 30 meters tall. It is widely distributed in Canada and the United States and it used as a ornamental tree in many areas beyond it’s natural range. As it’s name suggests, Blue spruce has distinct blue-green needles and is known to be a hardy conifer. It is tough, long lived and can grow in a variety of different conditions.

Purplish-gray to brown, flaky, becoming red-brown and furrowed with age
